STAGE IN THE HARDWARE DEPARTMENT

Stage subject:
  • Participation in development of extensive test system for digital circuits. The Hardware part of work consists of high bandwidth multiplexer debug and characterization.
    The microprocessor controller is also included in order to handle the MUX and should be developed. On the other hand the Software activities are driver development and PC application needed to handle the said peripherals and data acquisition.
Required skills:
  • Motivation and flexibility
  • HW: Basic level - Oscilloscope handling, Operational Amplifiers, debugging, breadboarding
  • SW: Basic level - C language, Visual Basic

  • 3 months

STAGE IN THE SOFTWARE DEPARTMENT

Stage/Thesis subjects:
  • Development of Automatic Systems for measurement of battery parameters and characteristics
  • Algorithms for battery life estimation, based on adaptive models
  • Improvement and extension of Neuro/Fuzzy models for battery life estimations
  • Implementation of automated tests of AT Commands via a script language
  • Development test application and demo for localization based on GPS device
  • Development of automatic testing system to perform module testing, white box testing on SW components (m2m, drivers)
  • Embedded Linux kernel porting on specific Hw target and development of test applications
  • Database application development for mass production process measurement and analysis
