Who we are
NEONSEVEN is a development laboratory for wireless telecommunication devices mainly focused on GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA technologies, and also on integration of different type of connectivity (Bluetooth, IRDA, WiFi), location technologies (GPS) and a variety of sensors and transducers.
Established in June 2003, NEONSEVEN is located in Sgonico (Trieste) and operates in the world market with customers coming from Europe, Asia, USA and South America, and employing about 60 people (more than 50 working in R&D).
Company’s founders are: Demir Rakanović, Tomaž Petaros, Valter Jeličič and Karel Cotič.
NEONSEVEN has excellent skills in HW development, SW development and integration, debugging, testing and product certification.

NEONSEVEN is partner of Infineon and in its value chain is participating in the development of the basic platforms; out of this platforms NEONSEVEN derive own product designs (projects with a product maturity).
Nowadays NEONSEVEN is composed of people working on mobile telecommunications for more than 10 years. The overall development experience of GSM products amounts to more than 300 man/years. The core team completely developed several mobile phones and data modules that have been mass produced. The total experience of the development team has had more than a 120 different type approvals.
